“We Can Remember It For You Wholesale” de Philip K. Dick. Bem vindos ao Rekall,
a companhia que pode transformar seus sonhos em memórias reais. Para um
operário chamado Douglas Quaid (Colin Farell), apesar de ter uma bela esposa
(Kate Beckinsale) a quem ama, as palavras “viagem mental” soam como férias
perfeitas de sua vida frustrante – memórias reais de uma vida como um super
espião podem ser exatamente o que ele precisa. Mas quando o procedimento dá
errado, Quaid se torna um homem procurado. Encontrando-se foragido da policia –
controlada pelo chanceler Cohaagen (Bryan Cranston), o líder do mundo livre –
Quaid conta com a ajuda de uma lutadora revolucionária (Jessica Biel) para
encontrar o chefe da resistência subterrânea (Bill Nighy) e deter Cohaagen. A
linha entre fantasia e realidade fica distorcida e o destino de seu mundo fica
